Suuuuunday!

So today was pretty productive for the dogs. They each got 10 minutes of individual obedience lessons. Rainy and Cloud got crash beginner-courses on down and leave-it. They already knew sit, so we brushed up on that...and then come is a constant game, so a little brush up on that, too. Lexi worked on heeling, recalls with food distractions, left finishes, and down (I just like seeing her drop to the floor, lol) Skye got recalls with food distractions and then some games. Sonny had drop on recalls. After some lessons about not barging the door to come inside, they all came in for group sits.

Rainy got her first outing to PetSmart, too. She didn't like the car ride - but once we got to PetSmart she was very happy. At first, she became a pulling machine and wanted to check out everything! After about 5 minutes she settled into everything, realized I had cookies, and we just worked on basic sits and attention. She met a PetSmart employee and offered a few sits for treats. We walked around some more and finally left. Going to have to get her out in the car more - she's a little unsure of it. Doesn't mind loading and unloading, but just the ride freaks her out a little. No drooling, but just panting and shaking.
