2 steps forward...1 step back

Class last night was, well, interesting. We got there early so I could do a couple CGCs. There were a lot of dogs there for Lynne's 7pm class, so I decided to put Lexi back in the breakroom in a crate. After I finished the first test, someone told me that Lexi had gotten out! So I ran back and found Robby walking her back to the breakroom. He said she crawled out through the top/side of the crate and came running down the aisle towards him. We put her back in, fixed the crate, and shut the door to the room. I finished up testing and went to get her (which, she was doing her GSD death-scream that could be heard almost throughout the whole store!)... She had broken out again and was waiting at the door for me. She had worked herself up sooo bad, crazy girl. I took her outside and walked her around because she kept barking at every dog in sight. Then, we came back in and went to the back of the store for some down/stays and relaxation before our class started at 8.

During class, I was able to get her to do a one minute 40ft down/stay and a 30 second sit/stay. We also worked on heeling, wait, and leave it around other dogs. The crazy lab that is in our class got her agitated because he kept getting in her 'bubble' so we took another walk for a calm down. Skye did really well - her stays were better this time.

We took Lynne home, so I sat in back with the dogs. That was a full backseat! Lexi laid on my lap the whole way.

Still looking for a Junior home for Drew. Haven't had any interest in him, yet.
