Lexi's training update

Took Miss Lexi out to PetSmart today and worked for about 45 minutes on LLW, stays, turns, recalls, finishes, etc. She did excellent! The store was starting to get really busy, so we booked it on out the door. I wanted her to end on a positive note for the day, so we took off for a walk down in Moore on the trail. In the past, we've just been doing half of the trail and staying away from the end with the playground. Today, there weren't any kids out, so we walked the whole trail...1 mile....whew! She did really well. Didn't bark at anyone -- kept mostly good attention while some joggers ran by. Needless to say, she was worn out by the time we finished! Even on the way back to the car, two small dogs came running out of a house and barked at her, and she looked at them and kept walking -- YAY!!!!! Talk about progress!! I can't even imagine her reaction if that happened a couple months ago.
