Thanks B!

Alright -- so Bethany kept pestering me to start a blog...and I kept insisting I didn't have time. Well - I'll make time. I think it's a good idea, especially with as much as been on my mind lately. To get caught up to speed.........

1) I'm married to the most wonderful man and I keep getting reminded of that all the time. I wouldn't have our life any other way right now even though it has it's stressful times, ups and downs...it's a learning curve and we're moving on up. Slowly but surely.

2) My dogs are awesome. Even though they get on my nerves, and I don't get in the show ring nearly as much as I used to...it's still great to have a normal house dog who I can cuddle with and talk to and play with. And!!! I have MY own dog now. Drew likes me more than Skye or Sonny do (it's the truth...Sonny adores Robby now...and we all know Skye is his dog) - so I have my dog...it's so nice!

3) Work. It sucks. This organization let me down sooo much. I was hoping for so much more when I started there, and maybe I started with my expectations of them too high, but I was sure let down. I hated the front desk, so I ended up getting promoted (talk about timing!) Well, that didn't start off too great! The office I thought I was supposed to be in (i.e. the old RHSF office before that wing flooded in June) - was passed over to a BRAND NEW employee on Monday. Ironically...my temporary desk (which I thought I was there while the carpet was replaced in the old office...) is the Youth desk. The Youth department is what this person was hired for!! So here I am still on hourly pay, my office stuff scattered in THREE different places literally across our whole office complex, I'm operating in a 2x2 ft desk area cubicle in membership services...(and people wonder why I'm always in the mail room...there's more room there than at my desk!) Oh yea...and he got a key, an alarm code, a company credit card, etc...all of which used to belong to the old RHSF person. And I'm supposed to be happy? I'm supposed to believe that "The Foundation is a very important part of our organization!" Now, let's remember...that I am the *ONLY* person who is over the Foundation in the office. Confused? I am too. So...after that spill -- I'm looking for a new start. A new job. I'd someday like to become an Academic Advisor, but I need my degree first. Working on that...! If I can get a job at a college and start getting experience, I'd love it, but that my not be possible right now. We'll see what happens.

On a good note about that...Robby loves his job. I'm glad he finally found something he likes. The only thing is, there is about to be a couple big changes that he's going to wait out and see how they go. One is that the Edmond Ford store is moving next door to Lincoln Mercury in December. The second is they are having a lot of staff changes. He really liked the guys he worked with because they were a lot older than him. But if he gets in with a bunch of young kids (which isn't likely at a L/M dealership, but still a possibility) then that may not work too well!

4) School. We're both back in the swing of things. We're on track to finish our Associates in the Spring then transfer to OU in the summer to finish our Bachelors sometime in 2011. A few years off, but certainly well worth it. We both dropped our pysch class after the first test. Too many weird things going on with that class that shouldn't have been happening.

So there you have it. Now I can just update day to day.

Tomorrow I am headed to Moore Norman Tech for some assessment testing. All should go well if it's anything like what BOk did -- and I think it actually may be easier. Robby's getting off in 30 minutes from working the fair today. I went out there to eat lunch with him, and then spent about an hour after work walking around some buildings until Robby ushered me to my car because "all the crazies will be out soon and I don't want you walking around alone!" Love my hubby!

Adios!
